MYP Students won 5 medals in World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) FINALS 2018
Five of Tunas Muda students won medals in the recent World Mathematics Invitational finals 2018, held in Seoul, South Korea, 13 – 17 July 2018.
The preliminary round was held in Nanyang School Jakarta where the same students got an award and qualified for the final round. The said competition took place in Seoul, South Korea on the 14th of July and the results were shared on the 16th of July.
Matthew Constantine was awarded silver medal in Year 7, Matthew Tyrone Tan, Christopher Reinard of Year 8 and Keanu Hambali of Year 9 were awarded bronze medals, and Patrick Mario Hadiwinoto got a merit prize award.
These students are constantly trained every year for about 1-2 hours after school.
