Year 1 students were extremely excited to have a guest chef. Chef Stefu taught a hybrid class onsite to make a simple and healthy fruit salad! As students followed instructions to mix their own dressing and cut up their fruits, the feeling of ‘getting back to normal’ filled the atmosphere. Shrieks of excitement from the anticipation of sharing their hard work with others filled the room. The energy was indescribable and we were amazed by their accomplishment. Proper protocols were put in place to ensure everyone’s safety and no food was consumed onsite.
